Josie Gardner is excited to support students as the school’s Middle School Counselor. She moved to Houston from Colorado in 2021 to pursue her graduate degree in Social Work at the University of Houston.

After earning her master’s degree, Josie spent four years as a Social-Emotional Support Specialist at The Parish School, where she taught students with communication challenges and learning differences about emotions and emotional regulation, and provided one-on-one emotional support as needed. She believes every student deserves to feel seen, understood, and supported exactly as they are.

Outside of school, Josie enjoys pet sitting and spending time outdoors.
