Tony White, BA - Learning Specialist
Originally from the Outer Banks of North Carolina, Antonio “Tony” White brings nearly 20 years of experience in education and community service. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Human Services from Elon University and has dedicated his career to supporting students, families, and underserved populations.
Tony’s background includes roles as a classroom teacher, Reading Specialist, Coordinator of School Culture, and Program Director for summer enrichment camps. Beyond the classroom, he served as Director of Information Services and Volunteer Coordinator for Allied Churches of Alamance County, a nonprofit organization focused on supporting individuals experiencing homelessness and displacement. In addition, Tony is an avid dancer, performing and instructing at local and professional levels throughout the Houston area and abroad.
Now serving at Gateway Academy, Tony brings a wealth of expertise in teaching, program coordination, and professional development. He is especially passionate about supporting students with learning disabilities and is a trusted resource for both educators and families. His professional strengths span K–12 education, literacy development, educational consulting, nonprofit leadership, and post-secondary transition planning.
